Travel ICU RN in Round Rock, TX

A Travel Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide critical care in a hospital unit on a 13-week contract in Round Rock, Texas. The 22-bed ICU uses Meditech and typically staffs patients at 1:2, sometimes 1:1. Nurses care for high-acuity patients requiring close monitoring and advanced support.

• Monitor critically ill patients and respond to changes in condition
• Assist with rapid sequence intubation, cardioversion, and emergent airway support
• Manage vasoactive infusions, IV sedation, and blood product therapy
• Support care for cardiac, neurologic, and post-procedure patients
• Use advanced monitoring and bedside support equipment
• Document care and coordinate plans with the interdisciplinary team

• Active Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• NIH Stroke Scale certification
• Critical care experience

• Trauma certification such as TNCC, CATN, or TCAR
• Post-op cardiac surgery experience
