Travel ICU RN in Dallas, TX

A Travel Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide care for critically ill patients in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Dallas, Texas. The unit has 16 beds, an estimated 2:1 nurse-to-patient ratio, uses Meditech, and relies on standard ICU equipment.

• Monitor critically ill patients and respond to changes in condition
• Administer ICU medications and therapies per protocol
• Assist with central line, arterial line, intubation, and EVD-related care
• Coordinate care with the charge nurse and interdisciplinary team
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in Meditech
• Maintain safe use of standard ICU equipment and supplies

• Current Texas Registered Nurse license
• ICU experience
• ACLS certification
• Strong critical thinking and assessment skills

• Meditech charting experience
• Oncology experience
• Neuro experience
