Travel ICU RN in San Antonio, TX

A Travel Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide critical care in a high-acuity ICU in San Antonio, Texas on a 13-week contract. The 14-bed unit cares for COVID patients, uses Meditech, and maintains a 1:2 ratio.

• Monitor critically ill patients and assess hemodynamic status
• Administer and titrate vasoactive drips
• Provide care for COVID ICU patients
• Assist with ECMO and CRRT support
• Assist with chest tube and central line insertions
• Document patient care in Meditech
• Collaborate with the care team on rapid changes and interventions

• Active Texas Registered Nurse license
• ACLS and BLS certification
• NIH Stroke Scale certification
• 2+ years of ICU experience
• Comfort with vasoactive drips and hemodynamic monitoring

• ECMO experience
• CRRT experience
• Meditech experience
