Travel ICU RN in San Antonio, TX

A Travel Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide critical care in an intensive care unit on a 13-week contract in San Antonio, Texas. The unit cares for ICU and Med/Surg overflow patients, uses Meditech, and works with a 1:2 ICU ratio.

• Monitor critically ill patients and respond to changes
• Administer vasopressors and other critical care medications
• Provide bedside care for ICU and Med/Surg overflow patients
• Document assessments, treatments, and responses in Meditech
• Coordinate care with physicians and the unit team
• Assist with critical care procedures and equipment

• Active Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• NIH Stroke Scale competency
• 2+ years of ICU experience

• Meditech experience
