Travel ICU RN in Richmond, VA

A Travel ICU Registered Nurse will provide critical care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Richmond, Virginia. The 10-bed unit uses Meditech charting and serves patients with 1:2-3 ratios.

• Monitor ventilated patients and respond to changes in condition
• Titrate sedation, analgesia, and vasoactive cardiac medications
• Assist with rapid sequence intubation and arterial or central line placement
• Support slow or continuous dialysis treatments
• Collaborate with the charge nurse and rapid response or code blue team
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient response in the chart

• Virginia Registered Nurse license
• ACLS certification
• Proficiency with ventilated patient care
• Experience titrating sedation, analgesia, and vasoactive cardiac medications

• CCRN certification
• Medical ICU experience
• Rapid response and code blue team experience
