Travel ICU RN in Charlottesville, VA

A Travel Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse will care for adults in a medical intensive care unit on a 13-week contract in Charlottesville, Virginia. The unit serves patients with multi-system failure, sepsis, pneumonia, GI bleed, and organ failure, and uses Epic charting.

• Monitor critically ill adults with multi-system failure and common ICU complications
• Manage ventilators, airway suctioning, and noninvasive respiratory support
• Titrate cardiac, vasoactive, and sedation infusions
• Maintain arterial lines, central lines, PICCs, drains, and blood product therapy
• Support CRRT, hemodialysis coordination, and fluid balance
• Assist with procedures, diagnostic transport, and rapid response care

• Virginia Registered Nurse license, pending
• BLS and ACLS
• 2 years of intensive care unit experience
• Teaching hospital experience
• Level I trauma experience
• Epic charting experience

• CCRN
• CVVHD, CRRT, and CVP monitoring experience
• ICP and pulmonary artery line monitoring
• Liver transplant and hypothermia protocol experience
