Per Diem ICU RN in Santa Monica, CA

A Per Diem Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide direct critical care in a hospital in Santa Monica, California. The unit uses Epic and cares for complex adult patients with respiratory, cardiac, neurologic, renal, and sepsis-related conditions.

• Monitor and manage critically ill patients
• Interpret and respond to dysrhythmias and ABGs
• Titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips
• Assist with ventilator, BiPAP, CPAP, and HFNC care
• Maintain central lines, PICC lines, arterial lines, ports, and IV sites
• Administer blood products, IV insulin, and procedural sedation
• Support line draws, phlebotomy, and isolation precautions

• California Registered Nurse license
• AHA ACLS, AHA BLS, and NIH
• 3 years of recent ICU experience or 1-2 years of solid ICU experience
• Epic experience
• LA Fire card
