Per Diem ICU RN in Mission Hills, CA

A Per Diem Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse will care for critically ill adults in an acute care hospital in Mission Hills, California. The unit serves adults and geriatrics with high-acuity neuro, cardiac, sepsis, and trauma patients and uses Epic charting. It is a Magnet hospital and Level II trauma, thrombectomy-capable stroke, and STEMI receiving center.

• Monitor critically ill adult and geriatric patients
• Titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips
• Manage ventilators oxygen support and sedation
• Maintain central arterial and PICC lines
• Interpret rhythms ABGs and 12-lead ECGs
• Assist with blood products chest tubes and emergency care

• California Registered Nurse license
• 1 year recent ICU experience
• ACLS BLS and NIH Stroke Scale
• Epic charting experience
• Community hospital and Level II trauma experience
• Core critical care skills with lines ventilators and drips

• CABG valve repair and TAVR experience
• Impella and IABP experience
• Trauma Level I experience
• Phlebotomy and chemotherapy administration experience
