Per Diem ICU RN in Mission Hills, CA

A Per Diem Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse will care for adults and geriatrics in a hospital ICU in Mission Hills, California. The unit has 24 beds, an average daily census of 28, Epic charting, and a high-acuity cardiovascular and neuro population.

• Monitor ventilated and critically ill adults
• Manage arterial, central, and PICC lines
• Assist with chest tube care and insertion or removal
• Titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips
• Support neuro, stroke, trauma, and post-cardiac surgery patients
• Administer blood products, sedation, and respiratory therapies

• California Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certification
• 1 year recent ICU experience
• Epic charting experience
• LA City Fire Card within 30 days of start
• Community hospital and Level 2 trauma experience

• CABG, Impella, and IABP experience
• TAVR and valve repair or replacement experience
• Chemotherapy administration experience
• Phlebotomy experience
• Trauma Level I experience
