Per Diem ICU RN in Mission Viejo, CA

A Per Diem Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide critical care for adults and geriatrics in an acute care hospital in Mission Viejo, California. The unit includes MICU, SICU, cardiac and neuro patients and uses Epic.

• Assess critically ill adults and track changes in condition
• Administer cardiac and vasoactive infusions and sedation support
• Manage ventilators, BiPAP, CPAP and HFNC support
• Interpret dysrhythmias, ABGs and hemodynamic trends
• Maintain central lines, arterial lines, PICC lines and ports
• Provide stroke, renal, wound and infection care

• 2 years of recent current ICU experience
• Current California Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS and NIH certification
• Epic experience
• Recent neuro ICU and surgical ICU experience
• Core critical care skills with adult and geriatric patients
