Per Diem ICU RN in Mission Viejo, CA

A Per Diem ICU Registered Nurse will provide critical care for adults and geriatrics in an acute care hospital in Mission Viejo, California. It uses Epic and supports medical, surgical, cardiac and neuro intensive care settings.

• Monitor dysrhythmias and hemodynamic status
• Titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips
• Manage ventilated patients, BiPAP, CPAP and HFNC
• Administer IV sedation, procedural sedation and IV insulin protocols
• Assist with arterial lines, central lines, PICC lines and ports
• Provide stroke, renal and multisystem critical care support
• Perform blood product administration, ABG interpretation and wound or drain care

• California Registered Nurse license
• Two years of recent/current ICU experience with no more than a three-month gap
• AHA ACLS, BLS and NIH certification
• Epic experience
• 3s/4s experience
• Graduation from an accredited Registered Nurse program
