Travel ICU RN in Richmond, VA

A Travel Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide critical care in an acute care hospital in Richmond, Virginia on a 13-week contract. The 10-bed unit uses Meditech, bedside telemetry monitoring, and 1:2-3 patient ratios.

• Monitor critically ill patients and report changes promptly
• Titrate sedation, analgesia, and vasoactive cardiac medications
• Provide care for ventilated patients
• Assist with RSI and arterial or central line placement
• Support slow or continuous dialysis treatments
• Respond to rapid response and code blue events
• Collaborate with the care team and document care accurately

• Virginia Registered Nurse license
• ACLS certification
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Proficiency with ventilated patient care
• Proficiency with titration of sedation, analgesia, and vasoactive cardiac medications

• CCRN certification
• Medical ICU experience
• Rapid response and code blue team experience
