Travel ICU RN in Plainview, TX

A Travel Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide bedside care in a rural short-term acute care hospital in Plainview, Texas for a 13-week contract. The ICU has 22 beds, an average daily census of 15, Epic charting, and a 1:2-3 ratio depending on acuity with Level IV trauma support. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Provide bedside ICU care to critically ill adult patients
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition
• Administer medications, blood products, and IV therapies
• Manage oxygen therapy, suctioning, and respiratory support
• Perform central line blood draws and maintain peripheral IV access
• Use isolation precautions and coordinate care with the team

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• 1 year of ICU experience
• Epic charting experience
• Critical care skills with blood products, central line blood draws, IV therapy, oxygen therapy, suctioning, and enteral tube care

• Previous charge experience
• BiPAP/CPAP and high-flow nasal cannula experience
• Port access and management
• Med-surg or MS/Tele experience
