Travel ICU RN in Lubbock, TX

A Travel Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse will care for critically ill adults in Lubbock, Texas on a 13-week contract. The unit has 16 beds, averages 11 patients daily, uses Epic, and serves trauma and cardiovascular surgery patients. It is a Level II trauma hospital with a 1:2 ratio.

• Monitor critically ill adults with trauma, cardiac, and neurologic needs
• Manage ventilators, vasoactive drips, and continuous sedation
• Assess hemodynamics, lab trends, rhythm changes, and urine output
• Care for arterial lines, central lines, chest tubes, and pacing wires
• Support post-cardiac surgery and post-neurosurgery patients
• Administer medications, blood products, and emergency treatments

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• 3 years of ICU experience
• Epic charting system experience
• Prior travel experience
• Critical care skills in ventilator, arterial line, central line, and vasoactive drip management

• Trauma level I or II experience
• Neuro ICU or trauma ICU experience
• CRRT, EVD, and ICP monitoring experience
• Post-craniotomy or traumatic brain injury care
