Travel ICU RN in Mission Viejo, CA

A Travel Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide critical care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Mission Viejo, California. The unit serves adults and geriatrics, uses Epic charting, and has 47 beds. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Monitor critically ill adults and geriatrics
• Titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips
• Manage ventilated patients and noninvasive respiratory support
• Assess arterial lines, central lines, and PICC access
• Administer blood products, IV insulin, and procedural sedation monitoring
• Evaluate neurologic, cardiac, and multisystem changes
• Follow infection precautions and maintain isolation practices

• California Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• One year of intensive care unit experience
• Epic charting experience
• Strong critical care assessment and medication titration skills

• CPI or MAB
• Teaching hospital experience
• Trauma Level I or Trauma Level II experience
• ECMO, IABP, EVD, ICP monitoring, or Swan Ganz experience
