Travel ICU RN in Lubbock, TX

A Travel Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide critical care for adults and older adults in a short term acute care hospital on a 13 week contract in Lubbock, Texas. The unit has 16 beds, averages 13 patients daily, uses Epic charting, and follows a 1:2 ratio in a Level II trauma center.

• Monitor critically ill adults and geriatric patients
• Manage ventilated patients and airway support
• Titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips
• Support CRRT, renal failure care, and fluid balance
• Administer blood products and IV medications
• Assess hemodynamics, rhythms, labs, and neurologic status

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• 1 year of ICU experience
• Epic charting system experience
• Prior travel experience
• Ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring, and vasoactive infusion skills

• OCN certification
• Cardiovascular, neuro, surgical, or trauma ICU experience
• ECMO and hypothermia protocol experience
• Teaching hospital or community hospital experience
