Travel ICU RN in Fredericksburg, TX

A Travel Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide critical care support in a hospital unit on a 13-week contract in Fredericksburg, Texas. The 10-bed unit typically cares for patients at 1:4-5 and uses Meditech Expanse for charting. Equipment includes cardiac monitoring, beds, and emergency response tools.

• Monitor critically ill patients and respond to changes in condition
• Assist with STEMI and stroke protocols
• Support conscious sedation and chest tube care
• Participate in codes and intubation support
• Document assessments and coordinate care with the team
• Use clinical judgment to prioritize multiple patients

• Active Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS
• 3+ years of recent ICU experience

• Charge nurse experience
