A Travel Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse will care for critically ill adults and geriatrics in a medical intensive care unit on a 13-week contract in Easley, South Carolina. The unit has 11 beds, an average daily census of 7, uses EPIC, and welcomes first-time travelers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess critically ill adults and geriatrics
  • Monitor cardiac rhythms and patient status
  • Manage ventilated patients and continuous IV sedation
  • Administer medications and support unit therapies
  • Collaborate with respiratory therapy and rapid response teams
  • Document care accurately in EPIC

Qualifications

  • South Carolina Registered Nurse license
  • ACLS and BLS
  • 2 years of experience in field
  • 1 year of EPIC experience
  • Experience caring for ventilated patients
  • Experience with continuous IV sedation and dysrhythmia management
