Travel ICU RN in Columbia, SC

A Travel Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse will care for adult critical care, stepdown and cardiac telemetry patients in a hospital ICU/stepdown unit in Columbia, South Carolina on a 13-week contract.

The 16-bed mixed-acuity unit has ratios from 1:2 to 1:4 and an average daily census of 11.

• Monitor adult critical care, stepdown and telemetry patients
• Administer and monitor continuous IV sedation
• Perform procedural sedation administration and monitoring
• Assess rhythm changes and manage dysrhythmias
• Collaborate with patient support and monitor technicians
• Coordinate with respiratory, pharmacy and rapid response support teams
• Deliver patient-centered care across changing acuity levels

• Current South Carolina Registered Nurse license
• ACLS
• BLS
• NIHSS
• 2 years of ICU experience
• Strong dysrhythmia interpretation and management skills

• CCRN certification
• Ventilated patient care
