Travel ED RN in Wichita, KS

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in a fast-paced acute care hospital unit on a 13-week contract in Wichita, Kansas. The unit has 52 beds, uses Meditech/CPN, and cares for adult and pediatric patients with an average 1:3 ratio and low-acuity 1:5 assignments.

• Assess and triage emergency patients
• Start IV access and give medications
• Assist with procedural sedation and emergency care
• Support pediatric and adult patient care
• Monitor changes in patient condition
• Document care and verify medication scanning

• Registered Nurse license in Kansas
• Minimum 1 year current acute care hospital emergency department experience
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIH, and CPI Blue Card

• ENPC
• Meditech experience
• Large-facility emergency department experience
