Travel ED RN in Wichita, KS

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency nursing care in a hospital on a 13-week contract in Wichita, Kansas. The unit has 52 beds and average 3:1 ratios. Pediatric cases use team nursing in a fast-paced setting.

• Assess and triage emergency patients
• Start IVs and administer medications
• Assist with sedation and other emergency procedures
• Support adult and pediatric patients in a team setting
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes
• Document care and scan medications in the chart

• Kansas Registered Nurse license
• Minimum 1 year of current hospital ED experience
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIH CPI Blue card

• ENPC
• Meditech experience
• Experience in large hospital settings
