Travel ED RN in Wichita, KS

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in a hospital emergency department in Wichita, Kansas on a 13-week contract. The unit uses Meditech, averages 3:1 ratios with low-acuity patients at 5:1, and uses pediatric team nursing. It is a fast-paced setting that values experience with large emergency departments.

• Triage and assess emergency patients
• Administer medications and start IV access
• Assist with sedations and pediatric care
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes
• Document care in Meditech and scan medications
• Collaborate with charge nurses and providers

• Active Kansas Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS, TNCC, and CPI Blue Card
• 1 year of current hospital emergency department experience

• Meditech experience
• Travel nursing experience
• Large emergency department experience
