Travel ED RN in Overland Park, KS

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide care for emergency and trauma patients in a hospital in Overland Park, Kansas on a 13-week contract. The unit has 24 beds, typical ratios of 1:4, and uses Meditech charting.

• Triage emergency and trauma patients
• Provide bedside assessment and monitoring
• Assist with trauma, stroke, STEMI, and sepsis care
• Administer medications and IV therapies
• Support procedures used in the emergency department
• Document assessments and interventions in Meditech

• Current Kansas Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, ENPC or PALS, and TNCC
• Two years of emergency or trauma nursing experience in a level 2 trauma center
• Meditech charting experience

• CPI certification
• CEN certification
• TCRN certification
