Travel ED RN in Wichita, KS

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide care in a hospital emergency department for a 13-week contract in Wichita, Kansas. The unit sees low-acuity and pediatric patients, with typical ratios around 3:1, and uses Meditech charting.

• Assess emergency patients and prioritize care
• Start IVs and administer medications
• Assist with sedation and patient monitoring
• Provide care for pediatric patients
• Document care and scan patients and medications
• Work with charge nurses, physicians, and midlevel providers

• Current Kansas Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS, and TNCC
• Minimum 1 year of current emergency department Registered Nurse experience
• Strong rapid assessment and medication administration skills

• Travel emergency department experience
• Experience in large emergency departments
• Meditech charting experience
• Strong patient experience focus
