Travel ED RN in Overland Park, KS

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency nursing care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Overland Park, Kansas. The unit has 24 beds, a 1:4 ratio, Meditech charting, and level 2 trauma care.

• Assess and triage emergency patients
• Assist with trauma procedures and resuscitation
• Monitor patients and respond to status changes
• Administer medications and emergency therapies
• Coordinate diagnostics and provider communication
• Support patient education and care transitions

• Current Kansas Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, ENPC or PALS, TNCC, and NIH Stroke Scale competency
• 2 years of emergency or trauma nursing in a level 2 trauma center
• Strong triage, critical thinking, and emergency response skills

• CEN or TCRN certification
