Travel ED RN in Overland Park, KS

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency and trauma care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Overland Park, Kansas. The 24-bed unit uses Meditech and manages trauma, STEMI, stroke, sepsis, and triage in a level 2 trauma center.

• Provide emergency nursing care for trauma, cardiac, neurologic, and sepsis patients
• Perform triage, assessment, and ongoing patient monitoring
• Assist with trauma center procedures and emergency interventions
• Document patient care accurately in Meditech
• Use equipment and monitoring systems to support safe care
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and the care team

• Current Kansas Registered Nurse license
• 2 years of emergency or trauma nursing experience in a level 2 trauma center
• ACLS, BLS, ENPC or PALS, TNCC, and NIH stroke scale knowledge
• Graduation from an accredited Registered Nurse program
