Travel ED RN in Walsenburg, CO

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide urgent and emergent care in a critical access hospital in Walsenburg, Colorado on a 13-week contract. The unit is a Level IV trauma center serving emergency patients.

• Assess patients and prioritize care in the emergency department
• Start and maintain IV access and administer ordered treatments
• Monitor vital signs and respond to changes in patient condition
• Assist with trauma and emergency stabilization procedures
• Support physicians and the care team during emergency interventions
• Document assessments, treatments and patient responses
• Provide patient and family education before discharge or transfer

• Active Colorado Registered Nurse license
• BLS, PALS, ACLS and TNCC certifications
• Graduation from an accredited Registered Nurse program
