Travel ED RN in Salem, VA

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will care for critically ill and high- and low-acuity patients in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Salem, Virginia. The unit has 8 beds, a 4:1 ratio, Meditech charting, and GE equipment.

• Assess emergency patients with varied acuity
• Monitor critically ill patients and respond to changes
• Administer medications and support ordered treatments
• Collect labs and other diagnostic specimens
• Collaborate with the emergency care team
• Document care and patient responses in the chart

• Current Registered Nurse license in Virginia
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications
• Emergency Department nursing experience
• Ability to care for critically ill patients
