Travel ED RN in Salem, VA

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Salem, Virginia. The unit has 8 beds, a 4:1 ratio, and uses Meditech. It cares for high- and low-acuity patients, including critically ill cases.

• Assess and stabilize emergency patients
• Administer medications and monitor responses
• Support care for critically ill patients
• Obtain labs and other diagnostic work
• Collaborate with the RN and EMT team
• Document patient care accurately

• Virginia Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, PALS, BLS, and TNCC certification
• Emergency Department nursing experience
• Critical care patient management skills

• ENPC certification
