Travel ED RN in Richmond, VA

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency nursing care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Richmond, Virginia. The unit has 24 beds, a fast track area, and uses Meditech.

• Assess and prioritize patients with urgent and emergent needs
• Provide bedside monitoring and ongoing clinical reassessment
• Administer medications and carry out emergency nursing interventions
• Assist with trauma, resuscitation, and stabilization efforts
• Coordinate care with physicians, charge nurses, and support staff
• Document patient status and responses in the medical record

• Virginia Registered Nurse license

• NIH Stroke Scale
