Travel ED RN in Richmond, VA

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in a hospital emergency department on a 13-week contract in Richmond, Virginia. The unit has 50 cardiac monitored beds, an 8-bed rapid treatment area, a 4:1 ratio, and uses Meditech.

• Assess and triage patients with emergency conditions
• Monitor cardiac status and respond to changing patient needs
• Administer medications and start IV therapy
• Assist with emergency procedures and resuscitation efforts
• Coordinate care with physicians, RNs, and support staff
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the chart

• Current Virginia Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Emergency assessment, triage, and rapid response skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced emergency setting

• TNCC certification
• ENPC certification
