Travel ED RN in Richmond, VA

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Richmond, Virginia. The unit has 24 beds with 5 fast track areas, uses Meditech charting, and supports a 4:1 patient ratio.

• Assess and triage patients in the emergency department
• Stabilize patients and support rapid treatment of urgent conditions
• Administer ordered medications and emergency interventions
• Monitor patient response and escalate changes in condition
• Collaborate with physicians, techs, and paramedics during care delivery
• Document care accurately in Meditech and support patient flow

• Virginia Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Strong emergency assessment and critical thinking skills

• NIH Stroke Scale experience
• Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course
• Crisis Prevention Intervention training
