Travel ED RN in Charlottesville, VA

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in a hospital emergency department on a 13-week contract in Charlottesville, Virginia. The unit serves adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics in a Level I trauma, comprehensive stroke, and STEMI setting with Epic charting.

• Assess and prioritize emergency patients across age groups
• Deliver nursing care for trauma, cardiac, neurologic, and other acute presentations
• Administer medications and monitor patient response
• Assist with emergency interventions and resuscitation
• Collaborate with the care team to coordinate treatment
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in Epic

• Virginia Registered Nurse license or pending licensure
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC
• 2 years of emergency department experience
• 1 year of Level I trauma experience or 2 years of Level II trauma experience, plus pediatric experience
• Epic charting experience
