Travel ED RN in Virginia

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency nursing care in a hospital unit on a 13-week contract in Richmond, Virginia. The 25-bed unit typically runs 4:1 ratios, may rise to 5:1 during surges, and uses MediTech with a planned transition to Expanse.

• Triage emergency patients and prioritize care
• Assess, monitor and reassess patients with changing conditions
• Administer medications, IV therapy and ordered treatments
• Support emergency procedures and stabilization efforts
• Operate monitoring and infusion equipment
• Collaborate with physicians and unit staff
• Document care and complete handoff communication

• Active Registered Nurse license in Virginia
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, ENPC, TNCC and CPI certifications
• Emergency department competency and acute care assessment skills
• Strong communication, critical thinking and teamwork skills
