Travel ED RN in Portland, OR

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency nursing care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Portland, Oregon. The unit sees adults and pediatrics, handles medical boarders, and uses Epic charting in a 1:4 setting with stroke, STEMI, and behavioral health boarding needs.

• Triage emergency patients and prioritize care
• Assess and stabilize adults, pediatrics, and behavioral health patients
• Start and maintain IVs, draw blood, and obtain 12-lead ECGs
• Administer medications, blood products, and emergency treatments
• Monitor dysrhythmias, stroke symptoms, ventilatory support, and sedation
• Coordinate care with respiratory, radiology, pharmacy, and social service teams

• Oregon Registered Nurse license
• 2 years of Emergency Department experience
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS
• Epic charting system experience
• Emergency, triage, IV, and dysrhythmia management skills

• TNCC
• Trauma and chest tube management experience
• Behavioral health emergency care experience
