Travel ED RN in Oregon City, OR

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will support emergency care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Oregon City, Oregon. First-time travelers are welcome. The unit sees all ages, has 20 rooms, an average daily census of 80, uses Epic, and is a certified stroke center.

• Triage and prioritize emergency patients across the lifespan
• Assess, stabilize, and monitor patients with acute and complex conditions
• Administer IV therapies, medications, and emergency treatments
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias with continuous cardiac monitoring
• Assist with central lines, IV sedation, vasopressors, BiPAP/CPAP, and ventilated patients
• Apply isolation precautions and support stroke care workflows
• Coordinate care with providers, interpreters, and the emergency team

• Oregon Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS
• 1.5 years of emergency department experience
• Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Experience with central lines, IV sedation, vasopressors, BiPAP/CPAP, ABGs, and ventilated patients
• Isolation precautions and triage skills
