Travel ED RN in Seaside, OR

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency nursing care in a critical access hospital in Seaside, Oregon on a 13-week contract. The unit serves neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics, uses Epic, and has a 1:4 ratio with 10 rooms and 9 beds. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Triage and prioritize patients across all age groups
• Assess emergency conditions and start nursing interventions
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and blood products as ordered
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, respiratory status, and hemodynamic changes
• Assist with trauma care, procedural sedation, and airway support
• Coordinate care with respiratory therapy, radiology, pharmacy, and social services

• Oregon Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC
• 3 years of emergency department experience
• Community hospital experience
• Epic charting experience
• Emergency department skills in triage, IV starts, dysrhythmia interpretation, and trauma care

• Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification
• Stroke care experience
• ICP monitoring experience
