Travel ED RN in Milwaukie, OR

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency nursing care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Milwaukie, Oregon. The unit serves all ages and all chief complaints, uses Epic charting, and is in a teaching hospital. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Assess patients across the age span and triage emergency complaints
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to changing conditions
• Start and maintain IV access
• Support emergency treatments and blood product administration
• Coordinate care with the emergency team and ancillary services
• Document care in Epic

• Current Oregon Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications
• 2 years of emergency department experience, including triage
• Epic charting system experience
• Dysrhythmia interpretation and management skills
• IV start and maintenance skills

• NRP certification
• Blood product administration
• Central line care and IV vasopressor administration
• Experience in combined adult and pediatric emergency settings
