Per Diem ED RN in Portland, OR

A Per Diem Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in an acute care hospital in Portland, Oregon. The unit uses Epic charting and cares for patients needing rapid assessment, triage, and stabilization.

• Assess emergency patients and prioritize care
• Triage incoming patients and coordinate rapid interventions
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to dysrhythmias
• Manage IV therapy, central lines, and vasoactive infusions
• Support ventilated patients and noninvasive respiratory support
• Provide sedation monitoring, isolation precautions, and discharge teaching

• Oregon Registered Nurse license
• American Heart Association ACLS, BLS, and PALS
• NIH Stroke Scale certification
• 1.5 years of emergency department experience within the last 3 years
• Epic charting experience
• Emergency nursing skills in triage, dysrhythmia recognition, and critical care support
