Travel ED RN in Newberg, OR

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Newberg, Oregon. The small unit serves neonates through geriatrics and uses Epic charting. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Triage emergency patients across the lifespan
• Assess and stabilize medical, trauma, and behavioral health presentations
• Start IVs, draw blood, and obtain 12-lead ECGs
• Administer emergency medications, blood products, and procedural sedation monitoring
• Manage suicidal and violent patients
• Coordinate care with respiratory, radiology, pharmacy, and social services
• Document assessments and interventions in Epic

• Oregon Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• 1 year of emergency department experience
• Epic charting experience
• Emergency care skills in triage, IV access, phlebotomy, blood product administration, and sedation monitoring

• TNCC
• Community hospital experience
• Level II trauma center experience
• Experience with behavioral health and complex emergency cases
