About this job

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Coos Bay, Oregon.

Key Responsibilities

  • Triage and assess emergency department patients
  • Monitor patient condition and respond to changes
  • Administer medications and coordinate treatments
  • Assist with urgent procedures and stabilization
  • Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes
  • Collaborate with physicians and the care team
  • Support safe flow in a fast-paced unit

Qualifications

  • Active Oregon Registered Nurse license
  • AHA BLS certification
  • ACLS within 6 months of hire
  • PALS or ENPC within 1 year of hire
  • TNCC within 1 year of hire
  • Three years of recent emergency department Registered Nurse experience and recent acute care hospital experience

Preferred Skills

  • CEN or equivalent certification
