Travel ED RN in Plano, TX

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Plano, Texas. The 38-bed unit supports chest pain, stroke, Level 1 trauma, and burn care and uses Meditech.

• Assess emergency patients and prioritize care by acuity
• Monitor and stabilize chest pain, stroke, trauma, burn, and psychiatric patients
• Administer medications and coordinate rapid treatment with the care team
• Assist with trauma and emergency procedures in the department
• Document assessments, interventions, and responses in Meditech
• Collaborate with paramedics, EMTs, and unit staff
• Provide patient and family education and discharge support

• Texas Registered Nurse license or compact license eligibility
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC
• SAMA, CPI, or equivalent within 30 days of start
• Emergency department nursing skills
