Travel ED RN in New Hampton, IA

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide urgent nursing care in a critical access hospital on a 26-week contract in New Hampton, Iowa. The role serves an emergency unit focused on rapid assessment, stabilization, and discharge or transfer planning.

• Assess emergency patients and prioritize care needs
• Monitor vital signs and response to treatment
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and other treatments
• Support stabilization during urgent and trauma situations
• Collaborate with physicians and the care team
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes

• Iowa Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• TNCC certification
• NIHSS certification
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Emergency department nursing skills
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills
