Travel ED RN in Napa, CA

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide urgent care for emergency patients in an acute care hospital on a 26-week contract in Napa, California. The unit has 25 beds, an average daily census of 87, uses Epic, and serves neonates through geriatrics at a 1:4 ratio. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Assess emergency patients and prioritize care
• Triage patients and coordinate rapid room placement
• Administer medications and start IV therapy
• Monitor patient status and respond to acute changes
• Support emergency procedures and stabilize critical patients
• Document care in Epic and communicate updates with the team
• Collaborate with respiratory, radiology, laboratory and other support services

• California Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS and TNCC certifications
• 2 years of emergency department experience
• Emergency department triage experience

• ICP monitoring experience
