Travel ED RN in Fullerton, CA

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide care in a high-acuity, high-volume emergency department on a 13-week contract in Fullerton, California. The unit has 36 beds, sees all ages with mostly adult and geriatric patients, and is a Magnet-designated stroke and STEMI center with Meditech charting.

• Assess and stabilize emergency patients across adult, geriatric, and pediatric populations
• Administer medications, blood products, and IV therapies
• Titrate drips and manage dysrhythmias and IV vasopressors
• Perform wound care and bedside procedures
• Monitor stroke, cardiac, respiratory, abdominal pain, sepsis, and suicidal patients
• Assist with transports to imaging and other diagnostic areas

• California Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications
• 1.5 years of emergency department experience, including stroke care
• Prior travel experience
• 1 year of continuous experience at one facility

• TNCC
• CEN or CPN
• Central line care and management
• Epic charting experience
