Per Diem ED RN in Los Angeles, CA

A Per Diem Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in an acute care hospital in Los Angeles, California. The unit uses Allscripts EMD charting.

• Assess and triage emergency patients on arrival
• Stabilize patients and support urgent interventions
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses
• Coordinate care with physicians and other team members
• Document assessments, treatments, and outcomes in the charting system
• Use de-escalation skills with agitated or behavioral health patients

• California Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS, and CPI, MAB, or SAAM certification
• 1 year of emergency department experience
• EPIC experience
