Travel ED RN in Muncie, IN

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in a trauma center in Muncie, Indiana on a 13-week contract. The unit serves neonates through geriatrics, including behavioral health patients, with 48 beds that can flex to 62. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Triage emergency patients across all age groups
• Interpret dysrhythmias and respond to rhythm changes
• Start and maintain IV access and collect blood specimens
• Support procedural sedation, continuous sedation, and vasopressor therapy
• Manage CPAP/BiPAP and ventilated patients
• Provide care for trauma, isolation, and behavioral health cases

• Current Registered Nurse license in Indiana
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC
• 3 years of emergency department experience
• Level II trauma emergency department experience
• BiPAP/CPAP management, ventilated patient care, and dysrhythmia interpretation
• Charting system experience

• NIHSS
• Triage experience
• Behavioral health and trauma case experience
• Pediatric emergency experience
