Travel ED RN in Bloomington, IN

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Bloomington, Indiana. The unit cares for neonates through geriatrics, has 53 rooms and an average daily census of 150, and uses Cerner.

• Provide emergency nursing care across the lifespan
• Triage patients and prioritize urgent treatment
• Administer IV therapy, medications, and blood products
• Monitor dysrhythmias and respond to acute changes
• Assist with ventilated patients, sedation, and neurologic care
• Coordinate with respiratory therapy, radiology, pharmacy, and rapid response teams

• Indiana Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC
• 2 years of emergency department experience
• Cerner charting experience
• Blood product administration, IV starts, and triage skills
• Ventilated patient care, continuous IV sedation, dysrhythmia management, and stroke care

• Level I Trauma Center experience
• Level II Trauma Center experience
