Travel ED RN in Bloomington, IN

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will care for patients in the emergency department of an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Bloomington, Indiana. The unit serves neonates through geriatrics, has 53 rooms, and uses Cerner.

• Triage patients and prioritize care
• Assess, stabilize, and monitor emergency patients
• Administer blood products and manage IV sedation
• Support ventilated patients and respond to acute changes
• Interpret rhythms and assist with dysrhythmia management
• Start and maintain IV access and coordinate diagnostics

• Indiana Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC
• 2 years of emergency department experience
• Cerner charting system experience
• Blood product administration, ventilator care, IV sedation, and dysrhythmia management

• Level I trauma center experience
• Level II trauma center experience
