Travel ED RN in Mauston, WI

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will coordinate emergency care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Mauston, Wisconsin. The unit cares for pediatric to geriatric patients and uses the ESI five-level triage process. It supports rapid assessments, IV therapy, and emergency response in a busy emergency setting.

• Perform age-appropriate assessments and coordinate emergency nursing care
• Triage patients using the ESI five-level process
• Document care and patient response in the emergency record
• Administer medications, IV fluids, blood products, and resuscitation support
• Collaborate with providers and ancillary teams to prioritize care
• Respond calmly to crisis situations and communicate discharge needs
• Maintain supplies and equipment and support learner education

• Current Wisconsin Registered Nurse license or active compact license
• Associate degree in nursing
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certification
• 2+ years of relevant emergency nursing experience
• Proficiency with computerized patient documentation
• Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail

• ATCN certification
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing
